Are you passionate about supporting small businesses and fostering economic growth? The 17 Mile EDC (Fairfax, Gibbon, and Winthrop, MN) is looking for a Business and Entrepreneur Mentor to help local businesses thrive!
💼 Position: Part-Time (8-10 hours per week)
📍 Location: Fairfax, Gibbon, & Winthrop, MN
💰 Pay: $40 – $75/hour (contracted)
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
✔ Conduct site visits & provide hands-on support to businesses
✔ Mentor aspiring entrepreneurs & connect them with resources
✔ Identify funding sources & partnerships
✔ Deliver reports & presentations to the core team
🔹 Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Experience in economic development, business consulting, or entrepreneurship
✅ Strong networking & relationship-building skills
✅ Self-motivated, able to work independently & collaboratively
✅ Familiarity with rural economic strategies (e.g., e2 strategy)
🚗 Flexible hours with travel reimbursement available!
