🚨 Snow Emergency Alert – Thursday, December 19, 2024 🚨
The City of Winthrop has declared a Snow Emergency effective Thursday, December 19, 2024.
What you need to know:
🚗 All vehicles must be removed from the roadway by 10 PM. Earlier is even better! Vehicles left on the street after 10 PM will be ticketed or towed at the owner’s expense.
🌨️ Plowing Schedule:
City crews will work throughout the day to keep intersections open.
Tonight, starting at 8 PM, plowing will begin curb-to-curb, focusing on the central business district.
🏠 Helpful Reminders:
Remove garbage cans from the roadway.
Shovel your sidewalks within 24 hours.
For downtown residents needing off-street parking, you may use:
+ The Central City Park parking lot
+ The downtown parking lot
🚗 Once streets are cleared curb-to-curb, please move your vehicles out of the lots so public works can finish clearing them.
